The impeachment process was a sham. Although since it resulted in impeachment I fail to see how it "fell flat" as you claimed. Clinton was exposed for the lying scumbag that he is. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that Clinton's actions (just the ones he has admitted to) make him unfit for office. I don't need a criminal conviction or impeachment to figure that one out. The people did not find him fit, they are just fat, dumb and happy economically right now. The public's complacency does not determine fitness either. And I think Dubya's repeated promise to restore honor and dignity to the WH is far from a coded whisper. I know what he means and so do you. JLA
