I think what you have to say is fairly accurate. This stock is an excellent buy and the company is solid. However, I also agree that FRO will not survive this industry shakedown without merging or more likely being acquired by an RBOC or independent. The company may actually be more valuable broken up into pieces. Perhaps their long distance network would look more attractive to an RBOC if FRO didn't have their local service attached. After all, RBOC's do know local and might not want to buy what they already have. I could be off here but thought I'd speculate a little. Anyway 4-UR-Eyes, we're on the same page...FRO is a strong buy at this level. Look for attactive earnings late this year and probably not much before--in fact, look for at least one more quarter of at best average earnings.
