If they want our support they should allow audits.

Why?

Then they would want to audit the Federal Reserve's Books and people would be able to take positions on currencies that equate to insider trading.

And it would reduce the flexibility of all of them to handle monetary policy and make them vulnerable to political manipulation.

It is exactly for these very reasons that these organizations are "quasi-governmental". If they were completely open, they would be no better than our own corrupt, and pork barrel ridden government.

Be careful what you ask for Richard... You just might get it.
