why is it a crock? You of all people should be able to see the balance of power shifting (even in politics which is slow) to technology companies, management and workers mostly because they have a bunch of money. A lot of these people are new citizens and some are not citizens. How many times has George Bush visited the heartland vs. Silicon Valley? Would you say Bush makes a big deal out of posting the ten commandments when he is doing lunch with Chambers... nah I'll bet he downplays every single social issue that the right stands for because it is at odds with the tolerance required for the diverse tech workforce
