Once again, you are quite wrong. Despite the harshness of some of the rhetoric, a lot was accomplished: welfare reform, deficit reduction, structural reform in the government, negotiations to enhance free trade. It just so happens that these were mostly Republican initiatives, because the President performed poorly in his first two years and lost the Congress to the Republicans. Nevertheless, there was negotiation and governance......
