Hi Hardly,

I have been a long term investor in ORCL since 1995 and I cannot recall anytime since then that they owned or controlled the platform. I think that IBM, DEC, AAPL and MSFT are the companies that controlled the platform over the past 20 years. Furthermore, I think that ORCL's management, especially LE, has matured over the years and they have a clear vision and more importantly a good strategy in place today.

Can you please let me know what you meant by ORCL owning the platform. In the client server era, the database was a component of the system. In the new internet era, the database is central to the system and it is that reason why I think that ORCL can become the dominant software company in the world.

Thanks, Bob.
