Personally I find the following more interesting: Ruiz said that AMD remains on target to double sequential shipments of seventh-generation AMD Athlon and Duron[tm] processors to 3.6 million units in the current quarter and to double unit shipments again to 7.2 million units in the December-ending quarter. reiterating guidance at this point in the Q, means that they are very sure of delivering in Q3 and since most designs and volume projections are probably already done for Q4- also for Q4. I love it! I've been following AMD for more than 4 years, and the only thing that worries me (and I'm sure others- looking at the stock price) is an "unexpected" yield crash or mask fix that did not work, or expected orders that did not materialise. Consistancy and predictability will go a LONG way in giving AMD a better valuation. TG
