Interesting HAPPENINGS in the Company Zambian Newspaper article as of today CRC invests in gem mining Business Review Reporter COLOSSAL Resources Corporation (CRC) of Canada has invested $10m in gemstone and emerald mining in Kalomo and Ndola rural. CRC president and chief executive officer Dil Gujral disclosed this in an interview in Kabwe at the weekend. Mr Gujral said the company started mining gemstones in Mapatizya in Kalomo district last year. "We invested a total of $5m in our gemstone mining in Kalomo and generated 200 new jobs in the area," Mr Gujral said. He said more jobs would be created this year as the company was expanding its mining operations. CRC had also acquired emerald concessions and would soon start mining emeralds in Ndola rural. More than $5m would be invested in the emerald project which was expected to generate 150 new jobs. Mr Gujral said the company was also exploring investment opportunities in the agricultural sector where another $5m would be invested to create more jobs. I'm wondering if this is a mix up with Vantage or is the real thing. Appears tp be hope for the building of the Companies assets.
