When the phone receives the message all keys, including the power key, stop working. In some cases it is possible to reset the phone by removing the battery but according to reports the message may also damage the SIM card. Bjorn G Viksund, Web2wap's managing director, said in an interview for the Norwegian newspaper Dagens Naeringsliv that the programmers had also noted that mobile phones which had received the text message were more susceptible to malfunctions than other phones. Viksund added that he could not exclude the possibility that a similar method could be used to block Ericsson or Motorola phones. Nokia has reportedly been informed of the problem, described as the 'world's first mobile phone virus' and has started an investigation. LOL ! -metman
