Bought a couple of Nov 60 puts (GSTWL) at 4 1/2 two days ago, just in case... <grin>

Was looking at Qcharts just now, at it shows a trade of almost 6000 puts sold today at 4 3/8. (Am assuming 'sold') Went to check the CBOE site to see if it would confirm the volume but no such luck.

I've always assumed that when an institutional player makes a sizeable bet like this, it means they don't expect the underlying to backtrack to that degree (and they usually have enough resources <read common stock> to support their bet.

Anyone have another source for options volume?

Am I off base in the above thinking?

Bill
