Gus, after reading your post several times, I'm still unclear as to what you may be guessing at here. Ostensibly, one of the major reasons for a spinoff would be to open up new market opportunities for Mcdata, particularly amongst companies that compete with EMC. Are you suggesting a partial spinoff, no spinoff, or some other scenario? And if not spun-off according to the current ratio of Mcdata holdings to EMC, then how?

thanks - Abner
