Why should they pay for something that they are not entitled to take benefits? It may make sense for Permanent Residents paying Medicare/SS as they are likely future citizens. But even that is suspect. The naiveté betrayed by that post [all sarcasm off here] absolutely chokes me up. What to you think is the subtext of virtually every post made by we non-socialists on this thread? We are paying confiscatory tax rates and not receiving fair value in return. We ask exactly the same question as you: Why should they pay for something that they are not entitled to take benefits? Welcome to the USA.
