The big question mark here is wheter Intel choose RMBS because of it's superior capability, or it's financial advatages (wich turned out to be disadvantages..).

Probably both....Scumbria's comments not withstanding, DRDRAM must score well on some benchmarks..either that or there are a lot of people seriously deluded when they compare it to DDR.

As for RMBS, I don't like them anymore than anyone else but there must be something to their legal arguments because they don't look like they are going away anytime soon.
What I am hoping with the MU lawsuit is that RMBS and DRDRAM will be forced to compete in the open market instead of being in control and dictating prices.
