don, i think you elaborated on this issue with much needed accuracy....if anything brinker favors the total stk mkt index at vanguard.....i have heard him break down an indexed portfolio for a specific caller's needs.......i think for equities it was 60% total index, 25% 500 index, and 15% a small cap index.......i dont recall the specifics b/c it was about 1.5 yrs ago...... referencing a previous post: can anyone tell me specifically where brinker posts on aol? (abc radio??) has anyone here reviewed the postings?? if so, could you provide details?? lars
