That will not happen until after he acknowledges that a "soft landing" has occurred. I personally do not see that happening in the next month, and probably longer. Do you? :-)

What really amazes me is how many were thinking "up" even when Greenspan was gearing for a contracting economy. When the exonomy contracts, so does the growth rate and with many companies even the earnings itself of companies. How could this support higher market prices? Historically, IMO this has not been the case. The market ends up DOWN, not UP. IMO at least those thinking "up" now are not as WAY off with their timing of thier thinking. But I think this is still a bit premature. But I must say that we are seeing some interesting upside action that was telegraphed by recent technicals.
