This may not turn out to be a great daytrade,
but I don't want to be left behind if something
is indeed going on. I have a position in VLTS,
and I'll add a few shares today now that it is
above $10, maybe that will signal some sort of
break out for folks.

VLTS is a biotech company--the combined Megabios
and GeneMedicine--the deal in gene therapies.

The thread is here:
Subject 27855

Maybe one of the most interesting things about this
company is this patent:
Mutated steroid hormone receptors, methods for their use and molecular switch for gene therapy
I got that from a gene therapy review article--heh, I certainly have no opinion of my own on that!
List of patents--

Here is the list of their projects, clinical/preclinical:

And their technology summarized

I happened to notice that the European gene therapy company Transgene has bottomed out and seems to be trending up. I've traded in and out of that, not at all well, and I own some TRGNY. Have a look, but that ADR is certainly not tradable.

I'm high on cash now, very cynical about the market in general. Also, I mentioned yesterday that I had some thoughts on mental accounting. I thunk about cognitive dissonance 'n stuff for awhile yesterday, finally scratched the essay. Another day, another thread.
