I don't know if they are making it up, but even assuming that they are not, it proves nothing. Add one or two users and I guarantee that they would not get the same results. First: 2Mbps is not very fast at all, Second: It is good to think of this type of wireless communications in the same way you would think of an ethernet hub. That is, it is a shared medium and if one user requires 2 Mbps for a broadcast quality video stream, that means that there is no more bandwidth available for other users.
