Some tidbits.......

Down 66% off its recent high, QUALCOMM's stock is hardly a bargain as it is still trading at 146 times earnings.....

Based on our Price to Earnings model in the Valuation Section of this analysis, QUALCOMM investors can expect to earn a compounded annual return ranging from -9% to 9% over the next 5 years.......

QUALCOMM has benefited immensely from the world-wide telecommunications boom as they have grown Sales, Net Income, and Earnings Per Share [EPS] at 71, 68, and 50 percent, annually over the last 5 years. Amazing rates of growth for a 5 year period, however, rates that will be very difficult, if not impossible, to maintain over the next 5 years......

In its most recent earnings release on July 19th, QUALCOMM reported pro-forma sales and pro-forma net income increases of 11 and 23 percent over the previous year. Growth that is definitely more in line with where we feel this company will grow over the long term......

Might help explain QCOM's lackluster performance today..... BWDIK
