Was the EMLX hoaxster:
a) a short-seller who never posted on message boards
b) a short-seller who also posted on message boards
c) a disgruntled employee of Emulex
d) a disgruntled ex-employee of Emulex
e) a disgruntled employee or ex-employee of InternetWire
f) someone just looking for a challenge
g) other

My first instinct is "a", but how anyone thought they could leave a trail a mile wide (they made phone calls, sent a press release electronically, and would obviously have had a large short position or lots of puts) and not get nailed on securities fraud is beyond me. Therefore, I'll take what I think is the less obvious answer and say "d".
