>>>I'm right for the long-term, we're in for a long, nasty bear! <<<

doom & gloomer? ho ho ho

we have been in a long nasty bear, a whole bundle of stocks were yielding in the mid to high single digits, Mo MO was yielding 10%!!!!, the greatest investor in da world was selling at BOOK VALUE, this at a time when the economy was pumping along full steam ahead.

the dow has broken out of a diamond consolidation pattern, the nyse financials have broken out of a two year flag.

frankly i don't see a bear market with the nyse a/d coming off a wash out bottom like it has, the bears have had there shots at taking this down and don't have the strength, traditional t/a sezs the a/d line leads the averages down, but we shudda crashed in october 99 or april 00, but the april 00 panic just returned to the uptrend line.

i'll get bearish again for a trading pullback when the put/call ratio gets down to .4 for a week or so.
