If the majority of delegates to the UN were sent by democratically elected governments I might have a little respect for what is done there. The fact is that many are nothing more than apologists for tin pot dictators who spend their time obstructing anything that might empower the citizens of their country to throw the bums out, while demanding that we (US taxpayers) fund their games.

Which country, by far, spends the most money, material, and blood supporting the UN's efforts at peacekeeping?

Which country, by far, has contributed the most money to the UN since it was created?

Hint, both questions have the same answer.
