My guess is the opposite: August has been a good month for booking some capital losses. Money roll stowards the high flyers, but should logically return into the beaten down companies.

Rally in the high flyers, followed by a momentum in the second tiers: this is my definition of a rally in the make.

Timing of 8-9 month cycle also in sync with a post election correction.
