Scumbria, <I'm sure Dirk has a great deal at AMD. Without him, the company is dead as a doornail. AMD is known for highly rewarding their top person. After toiling in vain on Alpha for many years, he is now at the forefront of the industry, kicking Intel's rear. How much more job satisfaction could a person ask for? > Only Dirk can answer the question about job satisfaction. Compensation-wise, many startups that can make offers that established companies like AMD simply will not be able to match. Chuck
