Bernard- ATT is the company reporters seem to want to hate lately. And T is a large customer of ANTC. So I think there is naturally a belief that what ails ATT might effect ANTC. I guess they took the free voice offer also as a sign that ATT is hurting in it's cable telephony rollouts. I'm not sure if it's a sign they are hurting or a sign they are agressive in hitting their 500,000 number.

Add to that Harmonic's woes(mostly unrelated to ANTC), and add to that the news of Cisco getting into the digital content game(again unrelated to ANTC). I think these may be the reasons for the bath ANTC has taken recently.

But then again, it never takes much for ANTC to take a market cap beating on a regular basis.<g> I'm just very grateful it's been fairly predictable.

On the positive side, at least the volume is very low during it's recent drubbing. Makes me think that it is indeed the smaller players panicing and I'm of the opinion the bigger institutions and mutual funds are holding strong waiting for the numbers. All just speculating on my part. -MikeM(From Florida)
