So much for the stealth launch: Duron 750 on Saturday on HSN On Saturday, Sept. 2, the Home Shopping Network will feature 750MHz AMD Duron(TM) processor-based systems as a "Today's Special." HSN will be offering a Systemax PC with 128 megabytes of RAM, a 45-gigabyte hard drive, DVD, speakers, a printer, a choice of a 17" or 19" monitor and an optional CD re-write drive. The last time AMD processor-based computer systems were featured as a "Today's Special," HSN sold more than 13,000 700MHz AMD Athlon(TM) processor-based systems in one day. If you'd like to tune in, or encourage your friends to, AMD Duron (TM) is scheduled to be featured at the following times (all times are EST and subject to change) Saturday, Sept. 2 12 a.m. - 1 a.m. 1 a.m. - 2 a.m. 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. 9 p.m. - 10 p.m. 11 p.m. - 12 a.m. Check your local listings for the Home Shopping Network or check hsn.com for showtimes.
