when passing wire transfer instructions for Canadian banks the first question Operations would ask was 'Is that US or Canadian funds?' 'funds' just stuck. CHF Cantons Helvetica is the legal name, I believe, of the Swiss Confederation. Swiss autos travelling abroad in Europe will have a CH sticker on the rear to identify national origin.
