Thanks, Sam, I shouldn't have been spouting off fact when it was an assumption on my part. And that makes sense.

And if I'd have thought about it a bit more, I'd have realized that in current cellular applications "hand offs" occur from one tower to the other such that I believe you're really only using one tower at a time?

My car has a navigation system in it as well and when tied in with the built in cellular phone will transmit my location (both street/city and lat./long.) to a central location for assistance or emergencies with the push of a button on my part.

I love techno-gadgets and pay dearly ($$$) for them! <g>

On that note, do tell what kind of apps are your writing for the Palm? Need a beta tester? <g>
