Can an industry sector be sort of like a gorilla of its own? Fiber optics companies/technologies are certainly in a tornado; perhaps the whole communications/ wireless/ networking/ equipment industry is in a tornado, and fiber as a whole is the emerging many-headed gorilla. I say buy the basket up and down the food chain: SPLI, AVNX, STLW, JDSU, GLW, CIEN, NT. They're all buying each other up anyway, at least as far as DOJ/FTC will let them. Yeah I read the FM. (Frickin' Manual) But please, pardonnez- moi if I uttered some sort of FM blasphemy that will get me tarred and shunned by this fine little clique, and running back to the entrails readers on Clearstation....
