What does it mean? Probably that the stock price remains above a moving average or above a recent resistance point. What does it really mean? Not much, since this type of analysis is simply based on trends and may only be accurate enough to predict the direction the stock price is likely to take in the next few days, but not for much longer than that. Trend analysis does not (and cannot) deal with company fundamentals, including the fact that the company is able to sell anything it can make, or the fact that new uses for flash memory are being created almost daily.
