Thanks for the info.

My gut feeling is that he lost to James Doran (formerly Head of Submicron Center, later sent to Fab 25 to rescue when K6-2 400 yields poorly, now the general manager of Fab 30).

In simple term, Larry H represented Fab 25 faction while Jim Doran has been doing a great job as AMD's rescuer and great manager of Fab 30 yet still reports to Larry H.

When tensions rise between these two individuals, AMD has no choice but to side with Jim Doran, which is a right one.

I will not be surprised to see Jim D taking over his position later.
