Story of a cancer pioneer The story of a father that founded a company (CLPA) to find a cure to his son's inherited colon cancer: msnbc.com A rather charming but sad tale, as the dad, Floyd Nichols, died of the disease before the drug (Aptosyn/exisulind) was available for his son. His son is now on the drug and is free of colon polyps. The FDA review is pending any day.
