He very well could have been to his subordinates. I found him to be very cordial and charming over the phone. I was surprised at how willing he was to pass time with me on the phone. In several calls we must have spent well over an hour discussing various issues on which he later proved to be far more optimistic than the company's history has born out.

Regardless, he is gone now and I am confident that his duties are in far more capable hands.
