I believe I am an intelligent person, but concerning GIFS, I was nothing but stupid. Maybe if this type of thing had occurred with an established company, I could believe it was just the (bad) luck of the draw that I'd put myself in a position to be suckered. But there was nothing about Genesis, other than some company-generated numbers, to lead me to believe that this was an "up and up" outfit.
All the warning signs were there, all the posted warnings were there. Intelligence is a temporal quality. I didn't have it when dealing with GIFS, and in retrospect, nether did you or anyone else who lost all of his/her investment.
What's worse, I was a complete cynic from the time I got in. I cheered Caroline's posts and CC's irreverance, thinking we had way too many cheerleaders on this thread. But still, I let the hype get to me, I bought, I stayed, I still hold.
And even worse...I smelled scum bucket every time js posted. And still stuck it out.
