John, I thought I remembered pAUL saying that Intel now also uses local interconnect, but I could be wrong. Any Intelopia want to comment? SemiconEng did, and the next day, he announced that he would no longer post on SI. I don't know if it was voluntary on his part or not, but I think there is a connection between his comments on LI and his departure. You can find his exchange with TWY on the Intel thread from about 2 to 3 days ago. Joe
