Looking good for IMNX. Great article in USAToday a couple of days ago (http://www.usatoday.com), which has already been mentioned on this board. Trememndous upside on IMNX --- could easily outstrip Prilosec as the most profitable drug ever. Just wait for psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, congestive heart failure, and the motherlode money maker (because so many are infected worldwide) hepatitis C.

BERKELEY, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--Aug. 30, 2000--BioTime, Inc. (AMEX:BTX - news) announced today the successful completion of its Phase I clinical trial of PentaLyte®, BioTime's proprietary physiologically balanced short-acting blood plasma volume expander. Volunteer subjects received infusions of PentaLyte without any serious related adverse events reported. The procedures were conducted at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C., under the direction of Dr. T.J. Gan.
If the results of this study are acceptable to the Food and Drug Administration, BioTime plans to seek permission to proceed with further clinical tests of PentaLyte as a plasma volume expander in the treatment of hypovolemia (loss of blood volume) during major surgery. Following regulatory approval, PentaLyte will be marketed as complementary to Hextend®, its proprietary plasma volume expander currently in use in hundreds of major medical centers in the United States.
PentaLyte and Hextend have similar compositions, but differ in the starch molecule which maintains blood pressure. PentaLyte contains pentastarch, a medium molecular weight hydroxyethyl starch that is metabolized and cleared from the blood stream faster than the hydroxyethyl starch used in Hextend and other 6% hetastarch solutions. This difference makes PentaLyte ideal when short-acting plasma volume expansion is desired. Both PentaLyte and Hextend contain lactate, balanced electrolytes and physiological levels of glucose. BioTime's Hextend is presently the only physiologically balanced plasma volume expander on the market.

Isn't IMNX expecting FDA approval for its MS drug? I thought they were expecting approval during this summer? Any information on this and other drugs in the IMNX pipe line would be appreciated.

vaccine. This company is approx 8 yrs. past the mice - BIOMIRA. Two cancer vaccines in late stage HUMAN trials - Theratope (fast track) & BLP25. The "event period" is just begining - do your DD if you are a serious investor. Also, BIOM has an excellent patent portfolio.
BTW - the leap from mice to humans is HUGE & extremely difficult.

Look at the insider activity...
You know, who knows more than anybody about the prospects and financial well-being of a company?
IMHO, it's got to be the insiders, those supposedly in-the- know with often large positions.
So, wouldn't it make sense to see what's happening with the INSIDERS of the stock you own?
I mean think about it, what if a founder or CEO files to sell a HUGE BLOCK of shares?
1., does that mean that they're afraid of something? 2., what will a liquidation of such a block due to the share price and your position? 3., what's it mean if they're buying THEIR OWN stock back?
