Thanks for posting the great info on MCDT & your encouraging PM to get me into this issue! I did wait and on Thursday finally got in at $80 even...not great but still okay for a LTB&H.

Some questions on this article:

2nd Paragraph:
McData's storage savvy has earned the privately held company a strong following.
What am I missing here?

MCDT's products might be classified as 'high-end'. In these areas, competition can chip away and erode gross margins. I know that the market is exploding for the foreseeable future, but who do you see as the greatest threat on the horizon? ANCR?

3rd paragraph:
...in October 1997 it was spun off from EMC and hasn't received any venture funding since.
Is that right...I thought it was spun off from EMC this year...or is that just the IPO?
