"I consider this to be a value and growth stock. It is trading at about a 12 multiple. I think it is worth a lot more based on comparison with intel on a 40 multiple."

Comment: One more time...Show me a $2.8 billion company with a growth rate of 50% per annum (conservativelty) and a p/e multiple of 11 (based on current year estimate of $3.50), and I'll show you a company whose price is about to explode...(Hint 1: Intel growth rate 17%(?) and p/e multiple of 40....trades at $75) (Hint 2: AMD growth rate of more than 50% and p/e of 11...trades at $37.50...1/2 that of Intel)...(Hint 3: In most cases the p/e multiple for "healthy" tech stocks is greater than the growth rate)...
Conclusion: AMD has an enormous amount of upside potential by any convential benchmark of measurement, something the analysts are about to grasp, all at one time...and when they do, AMD revaluation will occur very, very rapidly, imho!!! (We could be about to witness geometric AMD price growth over the next year...i.e AMD could easily be 3 times its current price 1 year from now, assuming continuing above average execution)
