Only problem is...is that the broad market is still down. There maybe a small correction around October again so that everyone can breathe easier, but I don't believe it will drop the TSE more than 300. We'll see! We'll have to see what the oil prices do. If oil doesn't drop and interest rates stabilize, then we're headed for a recession beginning next spring.
Another indicator I've favoured that indicates a recession is Union activity. When the Unions start to go after the big demands they shut down businesses. What they're actually doing is shutting down the economy. Strikes hurt momentum. Unreasonable wage demands hurt profitability for at least two years...IF a company can actually recover. Usually what happens is massive layoffs and plant shutdowns. Unions cut their members throats all the time and kill the companies that feed their families. (I'll say again...unreasonable demands by the Union) Unions are fine when companies don't treat their employees with dignity.

Currently there's a lot of companies not making money that aren't tech. I believe that's why the markets discounted their price. Tech. companies make pathetic profit if any. Tech's saving grace is that they're changing the way we live. We just don't know which product in the end will win. The classic Beta vs. VHS. I agree though...they'll be slammed at some point.
