Carranza2, The problem with financial types is we over analyze. A better way to look at it in my opinion is to make your best estimate of wireless growth over that period. Next make your prediction on what percent of the market that will use Qualcomm technology. Now look at the current number of subscribers that use qcom technology. With the above numbers you can make your own estimate as to growth over the period. For example assume the first number is 30% per year. Next predict 60% for qcom. You get the idea. Not very precise, but gives you the idea. My personal guess is qcom should support about a 500 billion market cap in 4 to 5 years. This includes the value of spinco. The hazards are many. Slow roll out of 3g, slower growth, price declines etc. Hope this helps.
I apologize for reviving this tread. I actually posted to wrong one earlier this week. Guess everyone needed another thread to read.
I am heading out for a week. Hope everyone has a nice labor day.
