As usual Bush does not try to discuss the ramifications of his plans. As commerce moves to the Web, Bush is basicly calling for the repeal of all sales taxes. Now I think sales tax is regressive and not the best way for the government to get income. So what is a state like Texas to do? Is Bush calling for an income tax to replace the sales tax? Double the property tax? or just disolve state government and let the counties fend for themselves?
