AMD manufactures chipsets for K7 and they have a Fab that's underutilized so it would seem pretty easy to solve the chipset problem. Intel has taken a lot of heat for chipset screwups. Should AMD get the same heat?(never mind SMP) And why should the motherboards be so hard to make? It uses the superior EV6 architecture <G> and the MB makers all hate Intel plus it uses standard memory so what's the problem? How is AMD planning on making the MB problems go away if they are to double production in Q4?
