Jeeze, there are half a dozen symbols I've never
even seen on that list. And the obvious, at least
to me, AXPH ommission.
That does it, my wife's AXPH bought in the lower
$5's is gone at $8...I suppose some momentum traders
will take the damn thing to $12 now, but I've got
to try and be rational about this damn hobby--that
is too many people cutting up the pie, plus the
consortium giving the pie away for free.
That puts the wife back at 3x for the year, with
small positions only in SNAP and CNSI--and mostly
just cash now. Her return is right back at the top
of the early March frenzy, and I cannot complain
about being there once again.
I've no position in either Genset or Axys now, and
if the shares run away from me during some autumn
biotech frenzy, so be it.
Myself, well I'm half cash. And the other side of the
ledger is mostly biotech, plus PCTH a local "Rat Dog"
specialty aerospace manuractuer, which has a sentimental
place in my heart--plus they actually employ people
who work hard for a living, so that ain't so bad--cost
on Pacific Aerospace is $1 1/8. I own a little Midway
Games, MWY at 8 5/8 for the Viacom's Sumner Redstone and
the value. And some CNQR, a local software company that
has had the crap beat out of it and will probably be
gobbled up.
Of the biotechs I'm half neuro, cnsi and snap mainly,
and half Gene Therapy--VLTS, TGEN, TRGNY. Nearly everything
else has been sacked.
