Went short NUAN near 150 and CHINA near 20. . .
Considering ONIS, GLGC, CMRC, ARBA, JNPR, ALGX, APNT, EXTR, ITWO, HGSI, CORV, MSTR and even some of our very favorite opticals and Cult Heroes that ran too far too fast, due to Holidility. . . and also chips like PMCS, AMCC, etc. . .figuring that like so often in the past. . . the stocks that see the biggest decline on the slam will be those which are most desirable. . like GLW, CIEN, chips, etc.
May short holders for ease. . .BTH and SMH perhaps.
Plan is to go short at Tuesday's open. . .if we get big gap ups on enthusiasm that the "big money" will be returning. . . .knowing that it doesn't REALLY return until October.
Trading ahead of market open, since I suspect that we'll have difficulty getting quotes on Tuesday morning. . .and even more difficulty getting brokers to accept our trades. By placing them tonight, I am assured of getting the opening price, which I believe will be nearly as inflated as the opening price on the first trading day of the Year 2000.
