Shamsaee (with a nod to Jeff Bond):

I well appreciate your very sensible view toward TA and couldn't agree more that it takes a concentrated and long-term study, as well as time, to gain confidence.

Interestingly, I see you are based in the ME. I lived abroad for 44 years (ME for five) and bought my first stocks just before I headed for India in 1956. Things were different then. No internet, of course, no Paris Herald-Tribune, indifferent mail delivery, outrageously-priced international telephone calls. It was LTBH and I would be embarrased to tell you some of the stocks that I've held as long as four decades (i. e., Northrup).

At 72, I should have most of my resources in bonds and/or real estate, but since retirement I've made the market (and race horses) my way of feeding a mild gambling addiction. That's how I backed into buying TVGIA with its TVG racing channel. Thought it might take off (doubtful) but now find myself with considerable GMST in the process. I think I'll hold it at least till I'm 100.

Best regards.

Len

n.b. Jeff: Sorry, can't hire you. Beachcoming is solitary, the hours are terrible and the retun lousy.
