9/01/00 - Planet City CEO Retires

SEDONA, Ariz., Sep 1, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Planet City Corp. (OTC: PINC) today announced the retirement of its President and Chief Executive Officer. Terry E. Dennis, who has held the office since April of 1999, is retiring effective today, September 1, 2000.

Silvio Forigo, a member of Planet City's Board of Directors and former President of Planet City, has been named acting President. Mr. Forigo stated, "Terry guided Planet City through an extensive corporate redefinition and rebuilding phase, and placed the company into the web site development and wireless application delivery market. Under his leadership, Planet City became a software development, services, and sales company with several strategic alliance partners. We are grateful for his participation."

Mr. Dennis, 52, said, "The Board of Directors has requested that I continue to monitor current and upcoming client projects, and to assist the company in leveraging the many business relationships and alliances we established during the past year and a half. I have agreed to do so on a part time consulting basis. I have also agreed to assist Planet City's new CEO through a transition period if he or she so desires."

Planet City's Board of Directors is actively seeking a replacement CEO. Mr. Dennis, who was recruited out of retirement to head Planet City, stated that he is looking forward to resuming his former retirement activities.
