Seemed like a good time for gushy sentimentalism...

During most of the previous 3-4 years, but mostly since the beginning of August, 1999 I had made suggestions elsewhere for Ariad as a compelling investment. I used the warrants as a vehicle since they contained a leverage component absent from the stock. 90% of my ARIAW purchases were made since January, 1999.

Although the purchases were not documented, the sells of ARIAW were indicated on this thread. The average ARIAW purchase price was $0.75 - $1.00. The average sell price was $30. This will probably be my last thirty-something bagger in my life.

However, with the way the biotechs have been going this year, it would almost require a special talent NOT to lasso a couple 10-baggers during this same time frame.
