Gary The recent run-up and price performance of JNPR is a function of a huge number of investors that really don't understand their market. And that's exactly the point i tried to make. Why do you think these investors will sudddenly realise their mistake?? ON the contrary dont you think that other investors will 'pile on' when they see the huge profits their friends are making. The only fear I have in shorting this stock is the exuberance of investors who have already bid it sky high. And there doesnt seem to be an end in sight as u will notice from todays close at the high. If you do short, please make sure you have enough money to support your position to the max price you can imagine. And then add 30% to that price. If you can ride it, you will probably do ok. But I have lost enough money in the last 5 years (on similar situations) having to buy back at just the wrong time to meet margin and then within days being proved right when the stock sells off.
