Sionix Corporation Releases DAF Test Results

IRVINE, Calif., Aug 18, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- James J. Houtz, President of Sionix Corporation SINX, today announced that under their management team, the company has completed the first phase testing of their Dissolved Air Flotation system.
The representative particle removal testing is complete said Dave Lambert, Director of Research and Development. The results reveal that with test waters below 5 NTU, the LOG removal rate is above 2.0. The LOG removal rate of 2.5+ is achieved with waters greater than 10 NTU.
The current development effort has been centered around the float removal equipment and waste handling systems in which patent applications are being applied for.
Contracts have been signed and fabrication has commenced on numerous components for production of Sionix' Dissolved Air Flotation Water Filtration systems.
Negotiations with the Manufacturing Joint Venture partner are ongoing and will be finalized in the very near future.
Sionix Corporation is a developer of new concepts in "Dissolved Air Flotation Technology" for drinking water and wastewater treatment systems for municipalities and industrial use. Their technology includes existing patents and additional patents being applied for.
