Sapient Corp Increases Authorized Shares To 200 Million From 100 Million

WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Sapient Corp. (SAPE) doubled the amount of its authorized common stock, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company amended its certificate of incorporation to increase the number of authorized shares to 200 million from 100 million, the filing Thursday said.

Based in Cambridge, Mass., Sapient is an online business consulting firm.
