Zx, Concerning Those Dell Oro Stats: CSCO bought ARPT during the quarter, which increased their market share. CSCO is not taking away business from F5. F5 is taking business away from CSCO. That is why CSCO bought ARPT. Nortel bought ATON. F5 and FDRY are left for the taking.

F5 is the Rolls Royce of the Sector. Their products are ranked #1 by Cnet in the sector and their Big IP load balancer is used by the biggest Web Servers, BB companies. Schwab recently signed on with F5 because there was basically no other alternative for them. A switch from ATON or CSCO cannot do the trick with the biggest web servers.

PS Part of the Reason for The Severe Decline in the Stock this past spring was that many investors were tremendously overleveraged in regard to F5 on Margin. F5 was widely perceived as the ticket to buy their own Island in the Sky. They were right in theory but Wall Street has a way of destroying the widely exuberant consensus view first. I scooped up some shares during the Wash Out in the Spring. Sentiment and Expectations are now very subdued in regard to F5 . F5 has mended its wounds and is ready to move higher and higher.

PSS This is not a stock for your mother unless she likes wild intraday swings. But the trend is now definitely up.
